Immersive VR Education has been announced as the winner of the ‘Rising Star’ category at the annual European Small and Mid-cap Awards in Brussels on Novermber 12th. The win is based on Immersive VR Education’s performance among the listed SME’s with a market capitalisation of up to 50 million. We here at Immersive VR Education are honoured to be recognised as an emerging business with growth potential.
The awards, launched in 2013, were created by the European Commission to recognised some of Europe’s smaller listed companies identified through varying categories and showcased on the night. EuropeanIssuers, who represent listed companies and the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) who represent the stock exchanges are also co-organisers of the event.
The winner of each category is chosen by an independent, high-level jury, moderated by the European Commision, consisting of representatives from academia, asset mamangement, brokerage and the media.
Florence Bindelle, the Secretary General of EuropeanIssuers said:
“VR Education’s share price performance has been significant following its IPO, their corporate citizenship aspect is also well developed whilst maintaining transparency with their various investors.”
Rainer Riess, the Director General of FESE, added:
“Supporting SMEs in accessing finance through public markets is essential, it is rewarding to see companies like VR Education excel and grow after having listed on Euronext Dublin. The Awards are a great platform to showcase these companies and commend their work. Companies such as VR Education are part of the backbone of the European economy and are vitally important in supporting growth. Congratulations to them.”
