Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for a competent QA Test Engineer with 3+ years of industry experience to join our dedicated QA Team in Waterford. This talented individual must have a vision and drive and must not be afraid to back big ideas.

The Person

- Technically capable – Some scripting will be required.
- Experience working as part of a scrum team.
- Experience working with both bug tracking and test management tools.

- Excellent Teamwork ethic with the ability to work collaboratively with others (technical and non-technical).
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to align to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
The Role
- Maintain and expand existing testing documentation (test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reports, etc.)
- Define and update regression test suites for current and future projects.
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and collaborate with the development team to deliver quality user stories.
- Work within an Agile environment, using both JIRA and Test Rail.
- Working with test tools such as Test Rail and Postman.
- Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and the testing objectives.
- Gain product knowledge on VR applications
- Work on multiple phases of a project and/or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Take responsibility for your areas of work
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested
Experience
- 3+ years experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer role
- Experience in creating test cases based on User stories
- Manual testing experience – regression, functional, exploratory.
- Familiar with the Agile SCRUM methodology.
- Good analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
- Keen to learn new technologies and frameworks
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a computer science-related course
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or similar
Desirable:
- Experience with automated testing of API’s and/or Unity applications.
- Knowledge of video games industry.

Job Type: Full-time
NOTE: This position is not suitable for Graduate or Junior workers. Having an EU work permit is required. For this position, you will start working remotely due to current restrictions. However, it will be expected that post COVID-19 that you would be able to visit our EU office located in Waterford, Ireland either full time or with agreed arrangements for remote working.
